A modern and user-friendly showcase website designed to enhance the online presence of a fashion store with two physical locations.
Project duration
December to January 2025
The goal
The goal of this project was to redesign and develop a professional website for a fashion store with two physical locations. The existing website was minimal, consisting only of a basic landing page with limited information. The objective was to create a structured and visually engaging platform that effectively presented the brand, store locations, and product offerings — without transitioning into an eCommerce model. The new website needed to maintain the brand’s identity while incorporating a refined aesthetic and improved usability to attract more visitors to the physical stores.
The process
The project began with an in-depth analysis of the existing website, identifying its limitations in terms of content, usability, and design. With only a single landing page and minimal details, the previous site failed to communicate the store’s identity effectively. I started by defining the new site’s structure, creating a detailed sitemap to ensure clear navigation and an intuitive user journey. The goal was to provide visitors with key information about the brand, store locations, operating hours, and services in a structured and aesthetically appealing way.
Once the structure was defined, I moved on to designing wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma. Prioritizing a mobile-first approach, I ensured that the website would offer a seamless browsing experience across devices. The design focused on a clean, minimal aesthetic that aligned with the brand’s identity while integrating creative elements to set it apart from standard fashion store websites. Prototyping in Figma allowed me to refine interactions and user flows before moving on to development.
With the approved design in place, I transitioned to the development phase using WordPress and Elementor. To ensure consistency with the Figma prototype, I carefully implemented each section, optimizing layouts for responsiveness. I also integrated dynamic elements, such as an interactive carousel for store locations and a structured opening hours grid. Special attention was given to performance and accessibility, ensuring fast loading times and a smooth browsing experience. The final result is a polished, functional website that enhances the brand’s online presence while guiding users effortlessly to the physical stores.
Please note that website designs may change over time to meet client needs, brand updates, and content adjustments. The initial design reflects the delivered product, but modifications may occur to ensure alignment with evolving requirements.
